C-MAC MicroTechnology公司推出了第一款基于其专利性稳步补偿炉温受控晶体振荡器(TC-OCXO)技术的商业产品。这些新款CFPO-20系列产品具备OCXO的高稳定性和TCXO的相对低功耗、小尺寸及重量轻的特点,在整个工作温度范围内,5MHz到20MHz的输出频率下的稳定度达到±0.025ppm。

CFPO-20系列产品主要是为GPS、卫星通信和安全射频等移动、电池供电及遥控设备设计的。这些设备通常需要同时使用尺寸小、功率低,但不能用作稳定的标准频率源的TCXO器件和稳定性至少高一个量级,但封装尺寸、功耗和成本更大的OCXO器件。

CFPO-20系列器件采用标准20.7×13.08mm DIL封装,通过利用单个微型烤箱使晶体振荡器保持在其额定工作温度范围之上的近似恒定温度,利用C-MAC的Pluto温度补偿技术对残余相关温度频率误差进行补偿将TCXO和OCXO的优势集于一身。

在3.3V或5V的电源电压下,CFPO-20系列器件在-20℃到70℃工作温度范围内的稳定度达到±0.025ppm,或-40℃到80℃工作温度范围内的稳定度达到±0.05ppm,而在上述温度范围内,-20℃定态下的功耗则分别小于400mW和525mW。

CFPO-20系列器件的标准输出频率为5、6.4、8和8.192MHz,可提供方形HCMOS输出,也可提供10、12.8、16、16.384和20MHz的方形HCMOS或AC耦合剪切正弦波输出。此外,还可输出符合特定规范的1.25到33MHz的方形ACMOS和DC耦合正弦波输出。在输出频率最高20MHz条件下,这些器件的10年老化率为±3ppm,而在20MHz以上频率输出时,为±5ppm,而频率的可调节度分别为±5ppm或±7ppm,可实现对器件老化的补偿。

根据批量和产品规格的不同,这种新型CFPO-20 TC-OCXO器件的单价在24到60美元之间(仅供参考)。
